My life is starting to settle down a bit - finally.  Brandon and I have finished moving into the apartment.  Thanks to the help of some Jet City friends, we were able to unload the truck in less than an hour.  And then it only took about two days to get everything unpacked.  Add another day or two for decorating and organizing...  Not bad!  Check out the photos I posted for a sneak peak!

 

I took a trip down to Portland in the midst of all this.  It was wonderful to see Ella and Ashley.  I was definitely in need of some "girl time".  We shopped, talked about the bridal shower, and I got to try on dresses.  My mom, Ella, Ashley and I loved one of the dresses in particular.  So, in July or August...I'm gonna go back down to Portland to get it!  Woo hoo!

 

Time to run (literally)!

After three days of driving, we are finally home.  We made it to Seattle without any problems... well, almost.  I did get a ticket today for speeding.  Oh well.

 

I got to see our new apartment this afternoon.  Brandon did a great job - it's awesome!  I can't wait for the trailer to arrive so that we can really move in, but that won't happen until Monday or Tuesday of next week.  Rats!

The time has finally come for us to start packing up the apartment!  We will be leaving for Seattle in eight days!  Woo hoo!  I got a bunch of boxes from U-Haul this weekend.  (ps Boxes are expensive!)  Between last night and today, I managed to pack up most of the office stuff and all of our books.

 

I've got four days left with the kids and I think they can tell that I'm pretty much done for the year.  (We've been coloring...a lot.)  I've got movies for us to watch on Monday and Tuesday.  Wednesday is Field Day.  Thursday is all about cleaning up the room and saying our goodbyes.  I've been packing up my classroom for weeks now, so it's almost empty.  On Friday I realized that we might need to rent a storage unit to house all of my teacher stuff over the summer.  (I bought a lot of stuff over the course of one year...)

 

Brandon comes home tomorrow!  Yay!  He signed the lease for the 2 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment at CityWalk so we officially have a home in Seattle!  Double yay!
